🎲 Dice Roller
Quick answer
A standard die (d6) shows each face with a 1-in-6 chance, so two dice total 7 more often than 2 or 12 — 7 has six combinations, the extremes only one. This roller draws every die from crypto.getRandomValues, the browser’s secure random source, and supports the full RPG set from d4 to d100 with up to six dice at once.

Frequently asked questions
What does d20 or 2d6 mean?
The number after "d" is the sides on the die, and the number before it is how many dice: 2d6 means roll two six-sided dice and add them, the classic board-game roll.
Are the rolls fair?
Yes. Every die is drawn independently from a cryptographically secure random source with rejection sampling, so all faces are equally likely and no roll influences the next.
Why is 7 the most common total with two dice?
Because more combinations make it: 1+6, 2+5, 3+4, 4+3, 5+2 and 6+1 — six of the 36 outcomes — while 2 and 12 each have only one combination.
