Frequently asked questions

Can numbering start from a number other than 1?

Yes. Set "Start numbering at" to any number — useful when the PDF continues a printed document, so the first page can be numbered 25, for example.

What does the "Page X of Y" format look like?

Each page shows its number plus the total, such as "Page 3 of 12", instead of just "3".

Will the numbers cover my content?

Numbers are drawn in 10pt Helvetica with a 24pt margin from the page edge, where most documents have empty space.
