Frequently asked questions

In what order do extracted pages appear?

Pages always appear in ascending page order in the new file, no matter what order you type them in.

How do I write page ranges?

Use commas for single pages and a dash for ranges: "1, 3-5" extracts pages 1, 3, 4 and 5.

Is my original PDF changed?

No. Extraction creates a new file and leaves your original PDF completely untouched.
